Comprehensive, prenatal care for pregnant people desiring a home or birth center birth, on call labor and birth support, 6 weeks of quality postpartum care.

Prenatal visits are an hour long, where we talk about what’s going on in your life, how you are doing physically and psychologically. Everything is connected! There’s plenty of time for me to answer questions and for us to discuss relevant topics, such as: nutrition, herbs, exercise, family dynamics, birth preparation, community support, etc. 

Midwifery care is collaborative. I want to make sure you have the information you need and feel good making decisions about your care. I also work closely with chiropractors, acupuncturists and other providers to address various aspects of your well being.  

Visits are once a month until 28 weeks, then every other week until 37 weeks.  They happen weekly from there until the birth of your baby. I go on call for you at 37 weeks to join you in active labor, whenever the time comes. My job is to hold space for the kind of birth experience you want, provide support and make sure things are unfolding safely. After the birth I generally stay 3-4 hours to ensure all is well with you and your baby.

I do post partum visits in your home the day after your birth, on day 3 and at one week, two weeks and six weeks. 

Placenta Encapsulation is available for an additional fee.
